Places to see in Southland, New Zealand

Cathedral Caves, one of the most tourist places of the area, are two caves that penetrate into the rock 200 meters. Note that these are only accessible for 2 hours before low tide and two hours later.
Also, remember that to get to the caves you must walk a path of about 20 minutes through a forest until you reach the beach. Finally, the price of the ticket is 5NZD per person and the tour will take you about 1 hour.
These relatively hidden waterfalls are a perfect place to stop, stretch your legs and walk a small 10-minute trail, which will take you through a forest to the waterfall.
This place is known to be one of the best places in Los Catlins. Nugget Point is a set of several rocks shaped like nuggets that protrude from the sea.
Also, if you want to reach the lighthouse you will have to walk a path of 10 minutes. From there you can see penguins and seals.
